HomeBank is a personal finance management program that offers you a solution for tracking the information about your expenses and the state of your accounts. By using this simple yet effective application you can easily monitor your income and find new ways to save money.
The latest version for this program comes with a wide number of improvements and bug fixes that were visible in previous releases. For instance, you get new filters for the accounts, chart design changes, subtotals for account list, ability to sort categories in your reports and many more.
An issue that's still present within this application and might prove be quite annoying in some cases is the inability to save the entered data to other format than XHB. Although the program allows you to import files created with other applications, such as Microsoft Money or Quicken, the budget documents you save in HomeBank can't be launched in any other programs but HomeBank.
Nevertheless, you can keep a record of all present and future expenses (you can schedule payments), manage as many accounts as you like (bank, credit card, cash, etc.), set reminders, check budget reports and so on.
To conclude, HomeBank is an efficient program that brings you an easy way to keep an eye on the state of your budget and see where your money goes. Since you don't have to pay to use it, I can't find any reason why you shouldn't give this application a try.
